Engagement Opportunities: 

  • Events
    • Incorporate event attendance into your curriculum or membership requirements. This could include students attending a workshop, mock interview, or events, like the Career Expo! 
  • Online Resources
    • Handshake – Connect students with career opportunities, make appointments to meet with their college’s Assistant Director of Career Development
      • Add a customized job feed to your website from Handshake! Email employer.relations@oregonstate.edu with the criteria you would like to include on the feed and to obtain further instructions. You can also request a student account from us to create a profile and see what your students see
    • Focus 2 – A self-paced, online career and education planning tool for students
    • GoinGlobal – An online tool to help students search for jobs and internships abroad
      • Hosts the H1B visa database and global city guides and resources for careers abroad
    • StandOut – An interactive online video interviewing tool
      • Contact the Director of Career Education to receive access to the online module, pre-made mock interviews and the ability to create custom interviews 
  • External Engagement
    • Industry Treks: Work with the Career Development Center to coordinate a company site visit to an employer by contacting us at employer.relations@oregonstate.edu
    • Employer Program Participation: Interested in having employers take part in your programs? Contact us and we can make recommendations and help with the invites! Email us at employer.relations@oregonstate.edu.
    • Reach out to the Career Development Center if you are interested in having alumni present to your classes or organizations.
