Position
Summary

This position provides workshops and one-on-one support to students on a
broad range of financial literacy topics.
Topics include, but are not limited to, paying for college, managing
student loan debt, credit education, credit reports, basic budgeting principles
and consumer protection laws. A
professional, positive demeanor and attitude coupled with excellent
interpersonal and written communication skills are key requirements for this
position. The Financial Literacy Navigator reports to the Dean of Advising and
Counseling.  

Terms of Employment

This
is a full-time exempt position contracted on an annual basis. The salary range
for this position is $48,450 – 51,000 DOE/DOQ.
The salary will be prorated to
reflect the actual contract days remaining in the academic year. A
collective bargaining agreement exists, and membership in the TCC Federation of
Teachers or payment of a service fee is required.  Flexibility is
required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and off campus
assignments may be a part of the instructional load. Degrees must
be from accredited colleges or universities recognized by the U.S. Department
of Education and verified by National Student Clearinghouse.
