Since 1985, the Global Young Leaders Conference has helped motivated students to fully explore cultural differences, gain firsthand exposure to the challenges of international diplomacy, build confidence, and enhance decision-making skills in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Be part of this unforgettable, 10 day experience as scholars explore the vibrant American cities of Washington, DC and New York City.  We are in search of the most responsible, dedicated staff to lead our GYLC Scholars to a transformative program of leadership development and empowerment. Do you have what it takes to shape the next generation of future leaders?Skillsets needed: academic curiosity, nimble logistical dexterity, outstanding customer service, and an unparalleled commitment to empowering High School students, experience with international students, and experience in a cross-cultural environment like international travel, work or study abroad preferred. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills. Bachelor’s degree/age 21+ preferredOur field staff will be living and working onsite in venues in both Washington, DC and NYC. You can anticipate being "on call"/available 24/7, though working hours will typically be from approximately 7am through 11pm. Contract dates vary, but this program runs from June through July. Advisors help shape the experience for the students. The Advisor must be able to interact with and supervise students and to provide for their safety and well-being.
