The Hospitality Management Option within the business administration major is designed to provide students with both fundamental business skills (as described in the General Business Option) and to enable students to think strategically about the creation of value in a hospitality setting. Students will develop skills in asset management, environmental scanning and competitive methods, and be able to assess cause and effect relationships about the forces that drive change and influence the competitive environment within this industry.  A graduate from this option will have the skills and knowledge necessary to become a leader in a hospitality setting (e.g., settings with short-term overnight accommodations with foodservice operations such as resorts, hotels, cruise lines, casinos, amusement parks). Currently, this option is only offered at the OSU Cascade Campus.
