First Destination Survey
Now that you've graduated, take five minutes to let us know your plans! The First Destination Survey is an important data point for OSU — it lets us know what pathways our graduates are pursuing: work, graduate school, military or volunteer service, or something else? We want to celebrate your successes and continue to help tell your story. It also helps us determine what we can do to serve our students better. Whether you are employed or still looking, taking this five-minute survey will help future students.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Where does this survey data go?
- Your personal information is never shared or used to identify you. After the survey closes, the data is grouped together into a summary report that shows overall trends for the graduating class. This report will be shared on this website and with each college. A version of the report is also sent to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), which creates a national snapshot of where students go after graduation. Read the most recent national report.
-
What if I do not yet know where I am headed next?
-
That’s totally okay! We encourage you to fill out the survey now with whatever information you have—and if your plans change or come into focus later, you can update your responses anytime. You can also download a calendar reminder so you don’t forget to update your response.
