Coral is a citizen of the Shawnee Tribe of Shawnee and of mixed-European descent. They are a published author and artist with a decade of experience in the environmental field in areas including Tribal climate resilience, conservation education, multimedia art & communications, and sustainable community development. Coral works for the Bureau of Indian Affairs Branch of Tribal Community Resilience centering Native youth opportunities, funding for Tribal resilience initiatives, and inter-agency collaborations for Tribal environmental infrastructure and preparedness.

Outside of work, Coral enjoys beadwork, art, gardening, hiking, and kayaking. Over the years, they have found an equal home in the chaparral of San Diego County and the forests of western Oregon. Today, they reside in southeast Michigan where they're continuing their work at BIA while pursuing a Masters of Science at the University of Michigan School of Environment & Sustainability under the mentorship of Dr Kyle Whyte.
