Tillamook Estuaries Partnership
As Community Engagement Coordinator, I organize community events ranging from foraging events to salmon spotting field trips, to school excursions. I facilitate a partnership of 15 local community organizations focused on created STEAM opportunities for students around the county and I run the county's Explore Nature Network which hosts free events all year for residents and tourists alike. The biggest event I facilitate is Tillamook County's Children's Clean Water Festival in which all fourth graders in the county gather for a day of learning about their watersheds and understanding how to be good stewards of their environment.

It depends on the student’s interests. General ideas include attending an Explore Nature event or a TC STEAM Partnership field trip, touring the restoration and monitoring sites that TEP works on, and having lunch with various staff members.
