As Community Engagement Coordinator, I organize community events ranging from foraging events to salmon spotting field trips, to school excursions. I facilitate a partnership of 15 local community organizations focused on created STEAM opportunities for students around the county and I run the county's Explore Nature Network which hosts free events all year for residents and tourists alike. The biggest event I facilitate is Tillamook County's Children's Clean Water Festival in which all fourth graders in the county gather for a day of learning about their watersheds and understanding how to be good stewards of their environment.
