Career opportunities are constantly evolving, which can make it tough to know where to begin searching for a career or how to make a career change. Luckily, we have resources available to support all of our alumni, regardless of where you are in your career journey.

Career Events

One of the many perks of being an Oregon State alum is being welcome at all of our events, such as Career Expos, professional development workshops, employer panels and more. Additionally, you can research employers and apply for jobs through our online career platform and job board, Handshake.

Using Your Major

Sometimes, it feels difficult to translate academic skills into a work environment, especially if your skills don't seem to directly line up with a career field. However, we believe the skills gained from studying in any major are applicable in a variety of areas. If you're feeling stuck trying to apply your major to your work, check out our major page for just a few ideas.
